OGSA Library

OGSA maintains an extensive collection of Ostfriesen community lineage books (Ortsippenbücher or OSBs) and other resources related to Ostfriesland families and the region in our library collection.  A partial listing of our resources has been compiled and can be found here. While some of these resources are out-of-print, others are available for purchase in our Store.

OGSA also has all of the published Ortsfamilienbücher (lineage books) for the district of Oldenburg - which OGSA has in stock and available for sale.

Donations of relevant books and family histories are accepted.  Please contact us to discuss potential donations.

Several US libraries and associations have obtained OSBs and other resources from OGSA.  The libraries and associations listed below have many or all of the OSB church family books in OGSA's OSB list and may have other Ostfriesen resources.
